Allison & Ben--October 7th 2017

This modern, elegant affair took place on October 7th 2017 in Randleman, NC, with pops of pink and gray throughout the grounds of Allison’s childhood home. The weather on their big day was less than ideal as it poured down rain, (that’s good luck right?!) but, Allison handled it like a champ, as she stayed calm, cool and collected the whole time. This Wolfpack couple wasn't going to let a little rain ruin anything! (Hint: They met at NC State!)

I Do’s: Ben couldn’t contain his excitement as he saw his Bride for the first time walk down that grassy aisle. The two were married under a wooden arbor draped in white fabric with gorgeous bouquets. The two then honored their pledge as one, by planting a tree with the soil from both family homes. The “Guest Board” was a real treat for friends and family, as they each wrote sweet notes & well wishes on wooden hearts designed by the bride. Allison also got crafty, by painting signage on wooden boards for her guests.

Post I Do’s: After the ceremony guests took shelter by filing into the family barn for beers and cocktails, and then to  tent, which was a model of simplicity. The table tops were covered in blush linens, gray napkins, and lanterns; pouring out roses, lilies, hydrangeas and greenery! After the grand entrance, first dances and speeches, stomach's were quickly filled with delicious Maria’s Catering, and scrumptious cupcakes from Sweet Josephine’s. Allison and Ben knew the family barn was the perfect place for their bar. Friends and family had no problem using the squishy green grass as their dance floor, as they partied the night away with tunes from K2 Productions! After a long and memorable night, guests sent the bride and groom off with twinkling sparklers, and left with small bags of popcorn with tags saying “Pop, Lock, and Drop it!” & “Thanks for Popping by!”

We are so glad that rain was nothing we couldn't handle! Allison and Ben began their day with butterflies in their stomachs, and ended their day with a strong bond that will last a lifetime. We were so honored to join these two and can’t wait to see what the future has in store!
